Robin Hood is known as the outlaw who takes from the rich and gives to the poor. He's very pleased with this. In fact, a little too pleased. He's become smug, arrogant, and more concerned with fame than with helping others. Then the Black Hood appears. A new outlaw who is both nicer, cooler, and more popular. Robin Hood can't stand this, and decides the Black Hood must be stopped.

Who is this mysterious thief, and what happens when you're no longer the best? The performance explores themes of identity, self-esteem, and what it truly means to be valuable, all wrapped up in an energetic and humorous story.

Brage Theatre's version of Robin Hood is based on the well-known myth of the outlaw. Audiences will meet Marian and Prince John, among others, and there will be disguises, misunderstandings, very wealthy people and a very self-assured Robin Hood who gets a real setback. Fighting, trickery and laughter go hand in hand in this musical family comedy, inspired by the rock heroes of the eighties.

The performance is written and directed by Nils Petter Mørland, former theatre director at Brageteatret and part of the ensemble at Det Andre Teatret in Oslo. On stage, we meet, among others, strong actors with connections to Drammen.
