The audience sits out in the yard and gets to experience musical highlights from opera and operetta, woven into a local story. The performance is suitable for the whole family, and this year it is particularly well-suited for children.
There are two performances on the same day, one at 1:00 PM and one at 6.00 PM. The area opens two hours before the performances, and food and beverages will be on sale. Audiences will be seated in the open air and should dress according to the weather.
There is limited parking on site, and carpooling is recommended. The public may bring their own chairs or blankets to sit on the grass slope. There will also be a designated area with chairs on level ground near the stage for those who would prefer it.
The soloists are among the country's foremost opera singers. The script and direction are by Marit Sehl.
