The Summer Exhibition 2026 at Leveld Kunstnartun is titled Himmelretninger / Sky Directions. The exhibition is a collaboration between visual artists Mishi Foltyn and Per Stian Monsås and musicians Audrey Chen and Henrik Munkeby Nørstebø.
Saturday 25th July marks the Ål Day event, featuring activities and entertainment at Sundre. The programme includes a market, auction, book signing, free rice pudding, children's activities, and visits from Bluey and Bingo. Shops and stalls will also have special offers throughout the day.
On Tuesday, 28 July, you are invited to a historic walk through Sundre with Thor Warberg. The walk starts at 5:00 PM outside the main entrance of Ål culture house and will last approximately 90 minutes.
On Wednesday 29 July at 20:00, a concert is being held in Torpo Stave Church for Olsok. Here, old Olav traditions will be conveyed through words and music by Øyonn Groven Myhren.

On Saturday 8th August, there will be a pre-party and after-party at Tanken Arena in Ål in connection with Hellbillies playing at home. From 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, an evening with a country and Americana atmosphere is planned for both those who are going to the concert and those who just want to join the party.
Hellbillies are returning to Ål. On Saturday 8 August 2026, the beloved band will play a concert on the outdoor stage at Topcamp Hallingdal. Following sold-out concerts in 2024 and 2025, the audience is once again invited to an evening of singalongs and a great atmosphere. The age limit is 18 years.
When Hellbillies leave the stage, the evening continues with an after-party at Låven. The DJ starts about ten minutes after the concert, and there will be more music and a great atmosphere well into the night.
