The Generation Games are primarily about play, cooperation and fun across generations. The most important thing is not to win, but to take part together. You neither need to train actively nor wear sportswear to join in.

The participants form teams with people from different generations. If you do not have a team, you will be helped to be put together with others. For each activity the team takes part in, you collect stamps on a scorecard.

To qualify for a medal and diploma, the team must consist of at least two generations and participate in two-thirds of the activities.
