You'll find almost everything you need in Sundre, the centre of Ål. There aren't that many shops, but the shops that are here offer most of what you need.
Whether you need new ski boots, groceries for your cabin trip or just want to grab a coffee, you'll find it at Sundre. A compact and pleasant centre with cafés, shops and little traffic.
If you fancy a break from the hustle and bustle, we recommend freshly baked goods at Ål Bakeri, delicious cakes and lunch dishes at TID café or a juicy burger at Bear House.
But Ål is more than just Sundre. If you're heading for the mountains, we recommend a stop at Samhald, a 24-hour grocery store in Leveld. The store offers a rich selection of local food. Perfect for those shopping on the way to the cabin!
