Around the Strandfjord
A great and easy ride that takes you around Strandafjorden, the lake in the centre of Ål. The route combines a main road on the north side with quiet, scenic roads on the south side, perfect for a family-friendly bike ride.

Bakketeigen - Holu
This hike can be done in two ways - as a round trip with demanding uphill sections or as an easier return route. If you start from Sundre, there's a solid climb up to Bakketeigen before you continue on good gravel roads towards Holu. If you prefer an easier start, you can drive up to Bakketeigen and cycle on from there.

Many people start their cycle tour in the valley and cycle up towards the high mountains, but you can also take the car up and start from the mountain plateau.
