The title refers to the simple game where rock, paper and scissors have a mutual relationship with one another. In the exhibition, this becomes a metaphor for the meeting of three expressions: painting, textile art and photography. In the art exhibition ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS, three artists come together in a joint exploration of nature, form, light and material. Using a well-known game title as a starting point, the exhibition invites the audience to view landscapes and surroundings through three distinct artistic perspectives.

The three artists explore nature, form and material from their own distinct viewpoints, but are united by a shared interest in how surroundings can be experienced, processed and communicated.

• The painter's Landscape motifs stem from personal experiences, particularly on Torpoåsen and in the surrounding Hallingdal mountains. This gives the paintings a distinct local and nature-based starting point.
• The textile artist exploring depth, light and colour, and working with fabric and thread as mediums to create vibrant, sensual images.
• Photographer working with strong contrasts, minimalistic composition and clean lines. Through this, the audience is invited to discover the landscape and their immediate surroundings in new ways.

Together, the works form an exhibition where the weight of nature, the precision of form and the possibilities of the material meet. The audience is invited to experience how three different expressions can play against each other while simultaneously creating a cohesive whole.
