Red nimble knot

Join us in the dramatic story of the great dancer Rotneims-Knut, the man who threw high, danced freestyle like no other and always left his mark. He was both charming and fearless, but also wild and unpredictable. Party nights could end in trouble and fights, and he found himself at odds with neighbours, the sheriff and the priest.

The production takes you to 19th century Hallingdal, where we follow Knut's life - from dance and joy to darkness and tragedy. What did his wife Margrete really think about life with Rotneims-Knut?

An energetic and gripping story with dance, music and powerful scenes, based on real events.
