The concert features works by Ellen Lindquist and Terje Viken, among others, as well as lyrical solo pieces, ballads and folk tunes in new sonic guises. The music moves between the quiet and contemplative and the more energetic and playful, inviting the audience into a warm and exciting world of sound.

Bente Illevold is a euphonium soloist and one of the most prominent performers on the instrument in Norway. She performs regularly both nationally and internationally, and actively works to develop new repertoire for the euphonium through commissions, world premieres, and collaborations with composers.

David Cariano Timme is a percussionist and chamber musician based in Oslo. He works across a range of musical genres and performs regularly at festivals and concerts in Norway and Europe, with a particular commitment to new music and collaborations with composers.
