With a twinkle in the eye and a slant on women's thoughts and feelings, the show provides a lively and entertaining introduction to how the female body actually works. Topics range from orgasm and birth to childhood, menstruation, menopause, plastic surgery and ageing. The performance is based on the book Kvinde, kend din krop (Woman, Know Your Body) from 1975, which quickly gained the status of a feminist bible and was described as a revolutionary call for female self-worth and self-respect.
The play, dramatised by Kamilla Wargo Brekling, has been staged a number of times. This version will be the very first to be translated into Norwegian sign language.
