In the scenic surroundings of Leveld, thirteen kilometres from Ål town centre, lies Leveld Kunstnartun. The centre offers artists peace of mind, inspiration and community in historic buildings with soul. Here you'll find light-filled studios, excellent workshops and rooms that encourage creativity and concentration.

Kunstnartunet has several buildings with different functions. The teacher's bustade from the 1950s houses bright living rooms and good workspaces. Astridstugu is suitable for one or two people who want a quiet place to work. Låven and Skålen have flexible studios with plenty of light, and the Bjørneboe loft is a place to retreat for writing and reflection.

Throughout the year, there are regular open exhibitions and events where guest artists showcase their work. Leveld Kunstnartun is therefore an exciting destination for anyone interested in art, culture and creative processes.

Ål is located midway between Oslo and Bergen, with easy access via national road 7 and the Bergen railway. There are daily bus services from Ål to Leveld, and it is possible to arrange a pick-up. If you have your own car, there are many great hiking opportunities in the area, making your visit an experience for both the senses and the soul.
