Fishing rules
There are no quota restrictions, but otter fishing is only permitted in Presttjørni and Hesttjerni. Otherwise, the usual rules for sport fishing apply.
Fishing tips
The fishing takes place in high-altitude mountain lakes, where you'll find good stocks of trout in all the lakes, and in Presttjørni there are also whitefish.
Based on general experience of high-mountain fishing, small lures and spinners often work well for active fishing along the banks, especially in the evenings. In smaller ponds, worms can be an effective alternative. In clear and shallow water, small flies and sober presentations can give good results. Early morning and late evening often provide the best conditions.
