The fishing licence includes

Fishing rules
Anyone fishing with a net in Store Klevavatnet must complete a catch report form for each fishing day. The form is available at inatur.no, under the tour description for Net fishing in Fødalen. It is required to report all catches.
Season and conditions
Gillnet fishing usually starts around 10 June, when the water is usually ice-free. High mountain fishing can be exposed to the weather, and you must always consider whether it is safe to be on the water in a boat.
About the boat
The boat is located approximately 130 metres below the cabin and must be pulled ashore after use. In the event of heavy rainfall, the water level can rise by up to 0.5 metres.
About the cabin
The cabin is located approximately 130 metres from the water's edge. It has a propane stove with three burners, basic kitchen equipment, a wood-burning stove and a solar cell. There is no shower or fridge. There is an outhouse close by. Water is drawn from Klevavatnet. There is no mobile phone coverage on site.
After booking and payment on inatur.no, you will receive information about the key. The rental is based on self-catering, so bring your own consumables, sleeping bag, bed linen and pillowcases.
There is no mobile phone coverage in the cabin.
Cabin rules
- Arrival no earlier than 16:00. Departure no later than 15.00
- The cabin must be cleared and cleaned on departure
- Animals should not get into beds
- All rubbish and empties must be taken with you
- Don't leave any food behind - not even dry food or drinks
- Yarns should be cleaned, tidied and hung to dry in the correct place
- The boat must be placed in storage after use
- If something is missing or damaged during the stay, the landlord must be notified.
- Catch reports must be submitted by e-mail (take a photo or scan the form in the cabin)

Cancellation policy
- The stay is paid when booking at inatur.no
- For cancellations up to 30 days before the start of the stay, 85 % of the amount will be refunded
- In case of cancellation 30-7 days before the start of the stay, 50 % will be refunded
- If cancelled one week or less before the start of the stay, no refund will be given
Directions & parking
Klevahytta is located 1,300 metres above sea level by Store Klevavatnet, in the Fødalen landscape conservation area.
There is parking in Toviken, about 50 km from the centre of Ål, about an hour's drive. From the car park you can walk to the cabin. The path follows Klevaskardet and continues along the south side of Store Klevavatnet. Calculate up to two hours walking time.
An alternative is a marked tourist trail via Iungsdalshytta (DNT cabin).
