The golden boy from Sandnes made his debut as a solo artist with "That Great October Sound" and won a Spellemann award. His subsequent albums, including "Stray Dogs" and "Science", have garnered critical acclaim and awards, including Best Male Artist. Several of his albums have topped the charts, and "What's Left Is Forever" was also nominated for a Grammy.
Førebel's latest release is the album "Teenage Astronauts", which came out in 2024. It is a collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Larry Klein (Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock and others), legendary arranger Vince Mendoza (Björk, Joni Mitchell and others), Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and lyricist Edie Kuhnle Ottestad.

In 2025, Thomas will be seen on TV2's "Hver gang vi møtes" in January and February, and in March and April he will be touring Norway with his eminent band:
