The legendary Sven Nyhus Quartet was founded in 1969 and has since been a style-creating ensemble in Norwegian folk music. With their distinctive accordion arrangements and virtuoso fiddling, the quartet set a new standard - and inspired generations of musicians.

In 2024, the quartet has been given new life. With Sven Nyhus' daughter, Åshild Breie Nyhus, as soloist, they continue the legacy with the same strong repertoire - where the fiddle and harding fiddle are still at the centre. This is musical storytelling, delivered with power and precision.

And that's not all: On Saturday night, the quartet will also be dancing at Thon Hotel Hallingdal!
