For the fifth time, 18 students from the bachelor's programme in music education at NMH are visiting Ål. A whole week is devoted to interaction, teaching and musical exploration - a meeting that gives both culture school students and future music educators new impulses and arenas for artistic development.
The evening culminates in a joint concert in which students from the NMH take to the stage together with pupils and teachers from Ål kulturskule. The result is a musical mosaic in which different expressions, genres and voices are woven together in a playful and passionate interplay.
The Norwegian Academy of Music is the country's foremost institution for higher music education, and an important player in the development of an inclusive and sustainable music scene. The collaboration with Ål kulturskule shows how these visions can be realised - through meetings between young musicians, academic immersion and an engaged audience.
