Young Folk Musician of the Year 2024 and winner of IntroFolk, Martin Steinum Brun, is a folk singer from Vågå in Gudbrandsdalen. With a unique ability to communicate, he leads the audience into the diverse world of folk song - from the absurd and humorous to the naked and personal.

Martin uses both the kravik lyre and the village harp in interaction with his voice, creating an expression that is both rooted in tradition and innovative. He is also a versatile musician with projects across genres, and has collaborated with, among others, the Norwegian Soloist Choir and the Norwegian Radio Orchestra.
