Have you ever noticed how important music is in a film?
Just think of how James Bond songs have become part of the identity of the films, or how the opening fanfare of Star Wars draws us straight into a galaxy far, far away. The music from Pirates of the Caribbean gives us the feeling of an epic adventure, while the tones from Titanic still move us with My Heart Will Go On.
This evening, the music students at Ål kulturskule invite you to a concert where they perform their favourite songs from the world of film. The students have chosen music that means something to them, and it will be a journey through both Norwegian and foreign films - from old classics to more recent productions.
The music ranges from romantic and atmospheric to energetic and humorous, performed on everything from piano to band.
Welcome to an evening filled with music that brings new life to familiar film experiences!
