The evening starts with a welcome by Kvinnegnist, who shares highlights from the year and plans for 2026. Opera singer and cultural entrepreneur Marit Sehl will then lead a workshop at Operalåven. Marit has a background from the Sydney Opera House, Hamburg and the Norwegian Soloist Choir, and she will talk about the journey of transforming her family's old barn into Buskerud's first opera stage before taking the participants into a practical session.

The workshop provides concrete techniques in communication, rhetoric and confidence in front of an audience. The programme also invites dialogue and collaboration, a great opportunity to make new contacts while learning from an experienced performer who knows the stage from the inside.

The evening is rounded off with Christmas tapas from Hallingdal Catering and a little Christmas greeting from the world of opera.
