Erlend Viken Trio has established itself as one of the most innovative folk music ensembles in the Nordic region. With hardanger fiddle, electric guitar and double bass, they create a sound few have heard the like of - firmly rooted in Norwegian traditional music, but at the same time open to inspiration from a variety of genres.

The trio has toured large parts of Europe and gained a wide audience through their energetic live performances. Their music strikes a balance between the traditional and the modern, making their concerts an experience that both folk music enthusiasts and rock and blues fans appreciate.
