Part 1: Lecture - From Cape Town to Norway on two wheels
After six years in Cape Town, Teresie Hommersand decided to cycle home, 25,000 kilometres through 26 countries. A journey that would take four years and take her through everything from a scorching 50°C to a bitter -30°C. The reason? For the sake of the climate and to show that there are other ways to travel.
The lecture is a powerful and inspiring story of courage, human encounters, innovation and nature. Teresie shares experiences from a journey where the most important thing was not the kilometres, but the love and community she met along the way. She shows that a climate-friendly lifestyle is not about giving up, but about opportunities and adventure.
