This autumn, Raknes and Saabye Christensen will release the album TID, in which Raknes has set to music brand new poems written by Saabye Christensen. The theme revolves around the concept of time - how we live in it, use it and experience its passing. The result is a quiet, beautiful and powerful expression that gives the audience a unique experience.
On stage, Lars Saabye Christensen reads his own texts, while Steinar Raknes, one of the country's most recognised jazz bassists, plays double bass and sings. The concert offers simple and honest communication, where powerful words and sounds merge without unnecessary effects.
The evening becomes even more special when both the audience and the musicians gather close to each other in the Great Hall, around small tables and in an intimate atmosphere.
