In 2026, Operalåven is focusing on young singers and young audiences. As part of this, promising vocal students from the Norwegian Academy of Music are invited to Ål to prepare and hold their own concert for young people in Hallingdal.

Youth Development is supported by the Wilhelmsen Foundation and the Sparebankstiftelsen DNB.

The concert is free for children and young people up to the age of 21.
