Our bodies' ecosystems are not designed for the pace of modern life, and according to the lecture, the body can enter a state of alert even when you're in safe surroundings with a work deadline. When the body prioritises fight or flight over time, it can in the long run lead to lasting misalignments and problems in the musculoskeletal system, in addition to other ailments such as impaired digestive function and poor sleep.
