Knut Bry from Hovet and Ole Johannes Brye from Ål have, over two centuries, made a tremendous contribution to photography in various genres: Art, portraiture, nature, fashion, society, decoration, performance, etc.

The audience gets to see a selection of the photographers' favourite images from a long life. The result is an exhibition of images from many different genres that take the audience on a journey through two creative lives, filled with moments that are both close, strong and surprising.

For many years, both Bry and Brye have captured moods, people and environments with an eye for the genuine and distinctive. In the anniversary exhibition, they share the images that mean the most to them. This gives the public a rare opportunity to get close to both the artists and their expression.
