The torchlight walk starts at 18.00 at Oppsjø Vasspark, where Ida Marie Holen from Mental Helse Ål will give the opening speech. Along the way, there will be several features that create both community and experiences for young and old:
At Grillbua at Bråta there will be a musical performance by Ål Historielag.
Karen-Margrethe Erlandsrud from Ål Volunteer Centre will be telling stories for children at the Gapahuken by the station bridge.
At Lavvoen at Topcamp Hallingdal, free buns, coffee and juice will be served by Ål bygdekvinnelag, as well as storytelling by Ål historielag.
At the finish line, participants gather in the lavvo at Topcamp Hallingdal for warmth, refreshments and further fellowship.
This is an enjoyable opportunity to take part in an inclusive and sociable event, where nature, culture and local involvement meet.
