Beharie - When The Silence Gets Too Loud

Friday 6 February 2026 at 19:00 Beharie comes to Sprang in Ål with his new tour When The Silence Gets Too Loud. Audiences can look forward to a concert experience that balances the intimate and the grand, delivered by one of Norway's most unique and critically acclaimed artists.

Beharie moves at the intersection of indie, folk and soul, with a voice that is rich, powerful and raw in its delivery. He is known for his ability to combine strong melodies, goosebump-inducing backing vocals and warm, acoustic moments - always with an intimacy that makes the audience feel invited right into the music.

His upcoming sophomore album When The Silence Gets Too Loud marks a new chapter, where his songwriting is more personal and confident than ever. The album is described as a modern coming-of-age album, reflecting on the transition from youth to adulthood.

As a live artist, Beharie has established himself at the very top of his game. He has played everything from intimate club venues to Rockefeller and the main stage of the Øya Festival, and has collaborated with both the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and the Norwegian Radio Orchestra. He has also made his mark internationally, with concerts at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Eurosonic, Reeperbahn Festival and Storsjöyran.

The track record is already long: Beharie won the Spellemannprisen in 2022 (Rnb/Soul), and has been nominated several times for subsequent releases. International media such as Wonderland, COLORS and Clash have also taken notice of him, and Swedish GAFFA nominated him for "International Breakthrough of the Year".

This will be an evening where the audience gets to experience an artist who is in the middle of his artistic peak - with songs that range from the vulnerable and intimate to the explosive and powerful.
