2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of torad player Embrik Bergaplass from Leveld. With his distinctive style and strong roots in local folk music, he left a lasting impression in Hallingdal and far beyond its borders.

In this morning concert, we will hear his music interpreted and honoured by today's talented performers - Ingunn Stræte, Lisbeth Haraldsen, Håkon Tveito and others. Each and every one of them will, in their own way, carry on Embrik's legacy and share their connection to his music.

This will be an atmospheric and memorable collection of music - in the middle of the day, right in the heart of Hallingdal.
