Åsmund Fauske Jøtun from Gol and Sindre Tronrud from Fagernes are both recognised hardanger fiddle players and strong bearers of tradition from their respective valleys. With their roots firmly planted in Hallingdal and Valdres, they have both immersed themselves in the local percussion material and continued the styles from their home regions.

This will be a unique musical encounter in which two rich hardanger fiddle traditions merge in interplay and solo performances. The audience will experience both similarities and distinctive features in playing style, rhythm and expression - and not least feel the power and nerve of living traditional music.
