Vincent Langaard (1994) is a Norwegian artist who lives and works in Oslo. He has a bachelor's degree in visual arts from Glasgow School of Art, as well as diplomas from art schools such as Edinburgh Atelier of Fine Art and Strykejernet Kunstskole. His work has been exhibited in a number of galleries in Norway, Germany, Scotland and England.
In 2023, he took part in the Norwegian TV programme "Portrettmesterskapet", and his works have been bought by collectors from Norway, the USA, England and China.
Conceptually, Vincent is fascinated by the power of stories - how a story, if strong enough in its conviction and repetition, can change people's perception of reality. He therefore draws a lot of inspiration from well-known stories, mythology, childhood memories, video games, films, viral trends and contemporary cultural phenomena.
The visual style of Vincent's work can be described as bold, colourful, exaggerated and humorous. Vincent works mainly with oil, airbrush and pencil.
The exhibition is open from 26 April - 8 June.
