Take it to a fixing party and get help to fix your broken products!
Students of electrical and computer technology at Ål vgs are providing tools and expertise; you'll have to provide your own parts, but we can advise on where to buy them. Join us in unscrewing, exploring and repairing broken products so that they have a longer life.

Folkeverkstad v/Karin Barasinski
This workshop explores the art of creating beautiful and functional books using recycled materials such as old books, magazines, newspaper clippings and other library materials. Participants will learn basic bookbinding techniques, including a simple Japanese bookbinding method, and creative ways to make unique notebooks, sketchbooks or diaries. The Japanese bookbinding technique is known for its simple yet elegant stitching, which gives the books a unique artisanal look.

The big clothes swap day
Ål bygdekvinnelag, Ål husflidslag and Ål frivilligsentral welcome you to a clothes swap party on 26 April.
Bring 7 complete and clean garments and hand them in in advance to the volunteer centre. There will be a free drop-in redesign workshop and repair instruction. We have sewing machines, fabric and everything needed for redesign. Bring clothes that need repairing.

Repurposed film - Ål kino
In collaboration with the Reuse Festival, Ål cinema is showing two popular films that are no longer in the regular cinema programme.
Creepy me 4 is Borna's favourite and The Old Oak they are grown up.
Reusable price only NOK 50,-/ticket.
See them again or for the first time - because film is best at the cinema!
