The torchlight walk starts at 18.00 at Oppsj\u00f8 Vasspark, where Ida Marie Holen from Mental Helse \u00c5l will give the opening speech. Along the way, there will be several features that create both community and experiences for young and old:<\/p>\n
At Grillbua at Br\u00e5ta there will be a musical performance by \u00c5l Historielag.<\/p>\n
Karen-Margrethe Erlandsrud from \u00c5l Volunteer Centre will be telling stories for children at the Gapahuken by the station bridge.<\/p>\n
At Lavvoen at Topcamp Hallingdal, free buns, coffee and juice will be served by \u00c5l bygdekvinnelag, as well as storytelling by \u00c5l historielag.<\/p>\n
At the finish line, participants gather in the lavvo at Topcamp Hallingdal for warmth, refreshments and further fellowship.<\/p>\n
This is an enjoyable opportunity to take part in an inclusive and sociable event, where nature, culture and local involvement meet.<\/p>\n
On Friday 10 October 2025, \u00c5l Volunteer Centre and Visit \u00c5l invite the entire village to an atmospheric torchlight walk to mark the Year of Outdoor Life 2025.
